Trust Building and Cooperation in Supervisor-Subordinate Relationships and Work Units

According to the results obtained, the group leader’s trust in group members has a significant influence on factors, such as fairness and autonomy, which enhance group members’ willingness to cooperate for the benefit of the work group. Moreover, this study suggests that power also has constructive faces and power is even needed for prosocial behavior in organizations.
